I was in a very rich neighborhood with very large 3 and 4 car garages... and no one left anything interesting out where it could be seen, except this young guy's (I met his mom) track Miata with Montana loophole plates
interesting aftermarket aerodynamic hardtop, looking though the windows I saw that the interior was stripped of carpet and insulation, a 4 point seatbelt is installed, and a roll bar.

seen today while making the errands rounds of groceries and a hospital visit (YOU MUST visit your friends in hospital, some can't use the internet or watch tv)
when was the last time you saw a CRX?
Proof that a new Mustang CAN look good if it's simply upgraded with racing stripes, hood pins, and most of all, the hood has to have a hood scoop

this is brilliant.... a guy with a stick shift used Miata turned his car, invented a new side hustle... teaching people to drive stick, with his car. Realistically, he invented a company: Manual Driving Academy. And he's looking to franchise (like Uber)
And once he’d gotten the hang of it, he was eager to share his newfound enthusiasm with friends and family. Raza enjoyed the process so much that he got the itch to expand it into a business. He approached the individual who would later become his partner with a simple pitch: Let’s teach folks how to drive stick for money as a side hustle. Just like that, Manual Driving Academy was born.
Courses come in three flavors, in ascending order of price: The Basics, The Standard, and The Works. The price for each is fixed, and instructors should expect to earn between $50 and $60 per hour.

2007 Dodge Demon concept.... just what the Dodge company needs to make and sell, because the Charger and Challenger won't continue to sell much longer, neither will anything else Dodge makes
Dodge / Chrysler doesn't have anything new to offer, and hasn't for about 6 years since the Gladiator truck came along.
The Journey? Durango? Challenger, Charger, and Jeep. They are all really long in the tooth.
Sure, nicer ones are for sale now than a decade ago, but, people certainly jump to buy the newest, coolest thing around. See the Tesla truck. No reason to buy that except that you get attention.
So, Dodge Chrysler, in the past decade has tried the Dart, fail. Avenger, fail. 200, fail. 300, sorta succeeded, but they quit making them. Viper, too expensive, quit making them, no one bought them anymore.
But the Miata? How long has that been selling? 35 years. They got that right the 1st time, and improved on it slowly over the decades. The Mustang? Well, 60 years even though it's not much like the original, ditto, the Camaro, the Corvette... small cars, even two seaters, sell, and keep selling for decades.
And do you know WHY they created this Demon roadster in 2007? To compete with the Miata, and the Soltice and Saturn Sky.

Because I went out on errands yesterday, I saw these...

small 2wd cars tackle notorious ‘Crooked Mustard’ hill in Gloucestershire, and amusingly try hard, but often fail because commuters are just not in their element on a banked curve dirt hill climb, with street tires... but the blue car at 1:02 wheelies through!

a couple crazy fun new cars were racing at last weekend's Drive OPTIMA event at Pikes Peak International Raceway
but only one cool old Mopar (which make me really happy to see racing with new sports cars)
