Arnold Schwarzeneggers car collection

Schwarzenegger is no poser when it comes to military vehicles or military life for that matter. He was required to serve at least a year in the Austrian military and opted to be a tank driver. He said his Patton is ““exactly the very tank that I drove in the Austrian Army when I was 18 years old.”

but it's embarrassing to remember that in the 80s and 90s, a lot of Hollywood celebs did commercials that would never be seen in the USA, and he did his share of stupid schlocky cup o noodles commercials, but even worse are the energy drinks... he must have been out of his mind

the annual Cruise for Kids, benefits the Boys and Girls Clubs of San Dieguito, and it's the most comprehensive gathering of supercars outside of SEMA

it's all open to the public, and you can walk in to drool... be polite and don't drip on the cars... and you'll see most every expensive car made in the past 5 years. About 1/4 of the cars were Ferrari

the only place you'll ever see Bugatti on the public roads... seriously. I've photographed a dozen or so, and only at car shows or dealerships. No one drives a million dollar vehicle anywhere

The most incredible thing about the all-wheel-drive Veyron is not its engine but its drivetrain. A Veyron just digs in and goes. I try not to indulge in hyperbole, but when I floor the Veyron, we pass a tribe of Morlocks and the Wicked Witch of the West, and the sky turns green and commuters fly past on personal dirigibles, and then I hit the brakes and we return to our dimension.

I have a split second to think, "Hey, this is fast but controllable." Then the turbos hit.
It's like a bomb went off behind the rear bumper and we're surfing the shockwave. I upshift and it happens again, except now we're going much faster. The rear end scrabbles for traction and I find myself countersteering at perhaps 65 mph. I back off the gas, because I am not ready to visit third gear of the Mosler Raptor on this particular street. Not even if Waylon Jennings were sitting next to me singing the Dukes of Hazzard theme song.

Forgiato, Giovanna, and Dub had the most impressive, rare, and expensive cars displaying their rims... and the booth babes were ignored

that Giovanna and Forgiato specialize in rims for the most expensive and rare cars is besides the point that I'm making... that they bring the most incredible cars to SEMA each year
