I've never seen a car wash have a floor mat cleaning machine yet... but it seems they exist out there somewhere... are they any better than using a pressure washer?

I looked on You Tube, and there are 3 popular machines, JKO, SB, and Rhino

All the videos except this one, are 7 or 8 years old, not high def, really shitty resolution, none show real world testing and cleaning.

I mean 4 years of dirt and grime pounded into a floor mat, that a pressure washer and hand scrubbing won't completely clean out. I mean small white dog hairs in black floor mats.

When I was working for a small company that detailed rental cars, and fixed the windshield cracks, we had a steam vac, it was a monster.. and it was really good at cleaning carpets and upholstery.

Of course, there was hand scrubbing, and shampoo... but that steam vac did great work https://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2010/10/wet-and-dry-vac-with-some-cleaning.html

  1. What gets me about this commercial is the company advertising its product doesn't really show you the end results enough to see if it really does clean your floor mats.

    1. exactly... makes me skeptical. Other videos are even worse, low res, 8 years old etc. Nothing to build confidence
