a 12-year-old from outside Nashville, Tennessee, invented the "EZ Baby Saver," in hopes that it would help parents remember that they've left their children strapped in a car seat. The contraption won him a runner-up prize of $500 at the Rubber Band Contest for Young Inventors.

Dozens of children die every year after being left in an automobile –- and one 12-year-old Tennessee boy did his part to end that.

At least 44 children died after being left in overheated cars in 2013, according to data compiled by researchers at San Francisco State University.

The brightly colored strap extends from a car’s driver door handle to the back of the driver’s seat, reminding a parent to check the back as they get out of the car.

senior on her way to senior prom lays tracks after her dad said she didn't know how to do it.

As Kloe gets ready to pull away, her dad can be heard in the background saying "she loves that truck," which her mom affirms by saying "yes she does."

The grandparents are in attendance, too, adding "she takes after her parents, that's for sure."

It's then that the dad states that "she doesn't know how to do a burnout," but mom advises him not to watch what's about to happen as Kloe pulls out onto the road and proceeds to stop.

So WHY hasn't anyone replaced the instrument panel in 100 years? This is garbage

But this is cool, a kids Fatman Tilt lok steering wheel!

lucky kids got to do the family Christmas card photo in their Dad’s jet on Miramar

I was stationed there for the last two years of it being a Navy base, 95-97. It was flipped from Navy to Marines in the fall of 97 around Sept/Oct.

Were any of you stationed there?
