if you get the opportunity, see Lane Sutterby's rat rod Crosley station wagon

He started with a rusty little thing

then got busy with welding, chopping, etc. Using the biggest engine he could find on craigslist, a 472 Caddy, and a Dodge 1 ton frame, he went gonzo on the rest

interesting rat rod, quite a cowboy theme, with some innovative uses of old car parts

a good Oliver tractor grill

A hollow drive shaft is a fine exhaust pipe... though it's probably going to require some strong mounts.

a pair of stirrups! Nice!

Flip top hub cap for an air filter top... I suppose there is a reason, for wanting fast flip top access, but I don't know what that would be.

Wild Torquey from Tinman 2 Kustoms has a hell of a cool gooseneck, and a kick ass call board made from a mechanics creeper!

this is the 1st time I've seen a call board made from a creeper... that is a damn good idea! It's inherently in the mechanics tools used in a garage on cars, and has the sizeable flat space for the credits and info

hell of a cool steering wheel!

Rat rods in mainstream advertising, and the rest of the commercial is eye candy too

I think that red with white racing stripes car is a early 67 Impala, but it goes by pretty quick

there is also a red Firebird with white racing stripes
