Oooh, Barracuda!

Challengers with high impact colors and terrific options

Nice GTX... comes with it's own action figure!

Once raced, now restored and up for sale at Spring Fling

An album of time slips, and a hand written histoy of the car from the original owners... very cool. Click on them for the full size

The original owners as they sold the Coronet
and the car when they raced it

Road runners / GTX... great looking design

It's my favorite and rarely seen pop up hood scoop

I can't decide which shot I like better

Spring Fling, best place to find Superbirds and Daytonas

I thought it would be interesting to look at the breakdown of what the options were on a bird

There wasn't any way to photograph the above display board without all the reflections obscuring the text, but at the angle I took the photo, all you have to do is click on it for the full size version to read most of it

It may be re-sale or arrest me... but it was a lot of red paint everywhere at Spring Fling

Chrysler 300 F at Spring Fling... detailed to fantastic standards, and ready to impress the most unimpressable judges at Spring Fling

Dodge Monaco with good looking rims, and immaculate interior at Spring Fling

Rare, one of three known to exist convertible Dodge Coronet V8 Royal with the 231 Red Ram hemi

Sweet 1959 Dodge Coronet Lancer at Spring Fling

Ever feel you can't make up your mind which photo to share?

Spring fling, New Yorker, woody, and Road Runner

I like the way the radio module is framed in this shot by the seat back, and the roof/headliner area of the station wagon rear edge

This is the only woody I found

Shelby is selling the magazine feature 77 Pacer D/L wagon with fuel injection and overdrive (factory). Of course the downside is that it's a Pacer

A 300 H was for sale at Spring Fling... and may still be looking for a new home

some cool stuff from Spring Fling

an 8 track player, that is cool. very period perfect, and a good choice of album too
It's a Tic Toc Tach... as a clock! That is a cool desk clock!
the 1950's rare record player
426 Max Wedge exhaust manifolds... they really were cast iron factory headers

Rare literature filled one vendors tent, lots of cool stuff
For a better look at the above, see http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2009/06/one-fun-advertisement-id-love-to-talk.html

This is the coolest tool box!

Almost any car can be identified by a corner photo... from the front or the back, there are that many design cues in the lights and bumpers

Nifty Fifty Seven, cool license plate!

Matador X... at Coronado, how'd that slip past the car snobs?

http://www.javelinamx.com/JavHome/articles/matx-rt.htm for a Motor Trend evaluation of the Matador when it was released

These photos reflect the Southern California feeling, convertibles and sports cars, and custom trucks.

Stuff that caught my eye at Coronado's annual car show

42 Hp... that's cute

Nice prop to have in your car!

I've been looking for this car with the hubcap airfilter housing... way cool modification!

The Chevrolet dealership that sponsored the show had rockstar parking for their Camaros.

I doubt we'll see another tach like this...
Airguide made gauges for boats and yachts, You can buy NOS ones here: http://www.classicboatwork.com/classicparts/gauges/airguide/airguide.html

The above speedometer is in a Buick LeSabre, and what you are actually looking at is a mirror that has an adjustment to the angle for people of different height. A technical innovation to keep all the instruments in the lower area of the dash in order to repair them easily. Damn nice design feature, and unique too!

Allis Chalmers grader that the City of Coronado once owned was at the Coronado car show, but off to one end of a street... not showcased
