Cool 74 Dart from Speedhunters in Mopar Alley at SEMA

http://www.speedhunters.com/tag/project-yankee/ has the full articles on it's build. As to everyone who commented about my being clueless... ummm, Yes. I had no damn idea, and that is because while I have a full time 40 hour a week job, I also have not much time to keep up with every other website on the internet. Speedhunters is a damn good website, and I dig it, just not very often because I've got this problem with adding content to my own site.

Which brings me to the comment about how they wanted to do a big reveal... and how I shouldn't have posted this.

If that were the important to Speedhunters, they should have had a car cover on it, or a sign saying don't take photos... It's that easy to keep people from spoiling the surprise, which, there really is no surprise to spoil anyhow - http://www.speedhunters.com/tag/project-yankee/ shows you exactly what the car looks like. Minus what the final overall view is, as you can see the color of the wrap, the trunk spoiler, etc.

Oh, and the license plate from Japan really fooled me. Why wouldn't it?

Old guys connecting with young guys while fixing up a Duster for SEMA, and during the build, learning a lot from each others generation

This awesome group is all about getting the local kids in their area into the car hobby and teaching them skills and work ethic.

Doing everything to finish it in time to go to CA to the Hotchkis Event at the Auto Club Speedway October 16th - 18th. The best part about it is that they will get to drive the car with the Hotchkis team coaching them the whole way through it and explaining to them why the car is performing the way it does.
