cool Mopar stuff at the Edelbrock annual open house

this is a 426 Max Wedge cast iron header... factory race parts were as good as after market, and legal for racing because they had factory part numbers

cool AMX at the Edelbrock annual car show and charity fundraiser, it happens to belong to an Edelbrock employee

one of 5 of Dennis Allen's AMX collection, and the one Edelbrock used the engine as a test mule, building it out to a 401 from a 390, a stroker with Carillo rods and JE Pistons, and Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads (of course!). The little AMX mill was used it to develop the Air-Gap intake, and in fact, Allen's 401 was even used to help develop the Pro-Flo EFI system.

As a thank you, Vic let him keep all of those parts. Not a bad job perk, especially considering how dialed-in the tune was now.

Looking to try out this autocross craze he's been reading so much about, he has added QA1 coilovers in the front with Addco sway bars and a road-race prepped Doug Nash five-speed paired with a Lakewood scattershield.

He even got it featured in Mopar Muscle http://www.hotrod.com/cars/featured/1504-homebuilt-1970-amc-amx-goes-down-the-faster-road-less-traveled/

an immaculate pair of Chevy Cheyenne were at the annual Edelbrock open house and car show charity fundraiser yesterday

nice alterantive seat designs

interesing center console... which points out that the truck has bucket seats instead of a bench, like I'm used to seeing in old trucks
