Indian Motorcycle.... cool

Ferrari interiors

Classic 60's styling

vs the new F430... note the push button on and the suspension selector both on thumb controllers by the horn. I love the contrasting yellow tach. Bitchin.

Even the fire extinguisher bottle is leather wrapped.

Cad plating and oil filters aren't restored, but everything else was

Bizzarrini bodied, Corvette engined

Notice that the tach and speedo aren't in front of the driver, tells me that they arent important in enjoying the drive. Love the smell of hot leather in the sun, it just produces it's luxurious scent. Love it.

Full race Ferrari

Please note the 21 adjustment settings drilled through the air foil, where the letter "E" in the word Telecom is. Thats perfectionism.

What hot rodders do when they want to build a model car?

The St. Joe Valley Street Rod Club, with members located in the South Bend, Indiana... created a display, including the box, that replicates an early 1960's AMT plastic 3-in-1 model kit of a 1940 Ford coupe, using an actual '40 Ford and associated car parts and kit building items (paint bottles, glue tube, etc.).

A "tree", one of two, was created to hold actual flathead engine parts, including a block and heads. The second tree replicates one that held chrome parts such as nerf bars, bumpers and wheel covers.

Cool one of a kind, I dig the intake and exhuast

The award for best use of color goes to

Mike's $150 dollar 37 Plymouth... still does 13's in the quarter

A friend of his bought this from a backyard in Alpine, and had the intent of a father / son project... so did the son until the marvel of sanding lost its charm.

For 150 bucks it traded hands and was a 1/4 miler at Carlsbad, until that went extinct. Then it was eased into a cruiser engine, a 350... sorry, not a Mopar engine... for ease of gettign to and from car shows and 1/8 th mile drags at Qualcomm... where it made 8 passes due to the lack of participants... in about an hour.

The Hot Rod and Bike Expo was working with Racelegal.com, who are very thin on budget and don't advertise quite as much as you might like... especially when rumors pronounced the demise of Racelegal events due to budget shortfalls in the fall of '05, and all of '06. So today (April 14 '07) only a dozen bikes and cars were there racing before 2pm. Which is when the 67 Camaro took a turn into the K rails, and water barriers. That took a hour and a half to clean up, it took an hour for a flat bed to arrive.... not much reason to hurry when there weren't but a dozen racers waiting to resume racing.

Bella Italia... at Spanish Landing Park

Bella Italia... in Beautiful San Diego

What unaltered, unmolested, cool muscle cars are hanging around in YOUR neighborhood?

Galaxie 500 with original dealership license plate trim rings om 1967 or 68 plates (xrz 329 was issued before Nov 68), and lots of sun damage, not much else wrong.

69 340 4 barrel Dart GTS.... with original hubcaps, and black and yellow plates, bucket seats, etc.
