This is a truck made/owned by a Navy senior chief, and he did a cool job of displaying his unit patches around the back window. They look better on a patch jacket, that's what I did with mine, but it's rare that it's ever cold enough here in San Diego to wear it.

this is a very cool example of a hard working guy making all the stuff for his rally car that he can't afford to buy... I had a great time talking to him today
Check out the former military switch panels pulled out of the junk at DRMO
I love that license plate is held on with cotter pins
And that the wing is hand made, and the mud flaps have hand painted sponsors and rear window scoops also have sponsors... so humorous!
A total of 401 De Tomaso Mangustas were built between 1967 and 1971, with approximately 150 designated for the European market and the remaining 250 allocated for North American customers... I only knew of 2 in San Diego, this one's new to me, and I just learned, it's stayed in the family for decades
This lucky guy's uncle owned the car, didn't have kids, and passed it onto his favorite nephew... who, doesn't have kids, and is very likely to be a favorite uncle too! It hibernated in his uncles garage for 30 years
I get a kick out of finding these rare original stickers on windshields.
