If you're into Mopars, you've probably heard of Passon Performance, as they are one of the best transmission companies for the 4 spd muscle car era 833. But here is what started that company

Jamie's dad bought this 426 wedge Satellite in 1964, and drag raced it. Then kids came along and it was put into his parents barn around 1971.

Around 1990, his kids decided to revive the cool old car for his birthday, and that experience led one of his sons to get into cars, and now he owns Passon Performance.

Read the whole story (might need a kleenex) of how the boys worked their butts off to free up the seized engine, and just in time for the birthday reveal. They've kept the car in the family of course.

the Seattle Police Dept has restored old Seattle police cruisers, from the Hagerty car ins company car magazine, and website

The Seattle Metropolitan Police Museum only restores authentic/original police cars from the agencies each car represents. The cars are designed to foster public interest in the historical, cultural and technological changes that have occurred in Seattle area law enforcement over the past 60 years.

When these vehicles are introduced to the public, their presence in the community bridges the gap between the police and the communities they serve. The concept of preserving police history in this manner is a cost-effective public relations tool for the police agencies involved and is a dynamic way of connecting with the community, especially those citizens who have not always had positive interaction with the police.

With 500-1,000 people per day approaching the officers that drive these vintage police cars and engaging in positive interaction, there is no other proven community outreach method that comes close to the amount of positive media coverage and public interaction that these vehicles provide.

I never thought I'd see a restored Sport Satellite at the Grand National...

not very exciting, a 383 and auto, but it's the same sunfire yellow with magnum 500s and black vinyl top as my R/T.. so for me it's an interesting comparison of very similar 1969 Mopars

1970 Plymouth Satellite convertible, nearly the same as the 70 Road Runner, but the small differences are very interesting to me. The tail lights, grill, etc

the rubber bumperettes, the space under the grill, and the brake lights, might be the only differences... though I don't think that the 1970 Road Runner was offered as a convertible.

Bruce Willis has driven and flown about everything in the movies, from Tom Mix Duesenburgs to a 1968 Satellite station Wagon

Above, Duesy with other cars on the curb just adding to the era correct look...
Below, Bruce stretched out in the Packard waiting for James Garner to get to the car

North Park annual Cops and Rodders car show

I've never seen this on the trailer, it sure makes it look small

The whole side of the park had restored Police cars... great display, and I once got to take photos of the place they restore them http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2008/07/stumbled-across-restoration-and-repair.html

I don't recall seeing the center head light before, it's oval shape... unusual
San Diego SWAT vehicle... made me realize San Diego has a swat team, I didn't know we did
1969 bus

Twisted Minds bike club, that's Mike in the black jacket
why do this to a vette? yes, it's an ugly 70's vette, but looks even worse as a 4x4

Both the black cars are Dodges

this is the first time I've seen this Shriners truck

It's a 4 dr... and I didn't realize that til I walked around it

these guys are good!
