  1. My mom bought one in April 1967, 428, Acapulco Blue, black vinyl top. Every option that was available was ordered. Bitchin' lookin' car and for a big car, pretty darned fast. Dad liked it and bought a GT500 two months later.

    1. wow, compliments! What's the dyno say you're making at the tires without the Nos?

    2. I have never had the car on a dyno. There was a video done of the car and the horsepower is just an estimate. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VeF9D6AzrRU

    3. Why haven't you had it on a dyno? Seriously, gain another 50-100 hp by having the carbs tuned, the recurve kit installed the maxes out the power already in the engine, the right heat range spark plugs, and at the same time learn the actual number to the tires. Guesses just don't cut it. I'm thinking you might be getting 500hp engine, but no more than 400 to the tires until you wake it up with a dyno tune. I've done it on my last car and my current car, it's worth every penny, and shocked me that they hadn't changed anything larger than a spark plug to suddenly bring my engine to life.

    4. My R/T is a 426 with 11.5 to 1 compression, 3 Holleys, 4spd 883 trans, and 3.70 something gears. So, I get what you've got going on. Looks like HEI ignition, is it MSD?

    5. And I dig your video, but for the love of the gods of speed, re-do the video in high def! What's this 480P garbage? Let your car bath in the glory of 1080p hi definition!
