Where would the military be without a Jeep to get them there?

  1. Jesse, they have a Convair at the Lakeland Linder Air Museum where Carlysle holds their fall and winter Autofests. I saw it just a month ago. The idea was to be able to land it upright in a small space, hence the casters on the back. They told us when I toured there years ago there was only one pilot able to do it and several were killed trying. It's officially called "US Navy1953 Convair F2Y Sea Dart.

    1. this aircraft is a Convair XFY-1 Pogo... the Sea Dart was a jet, not a prop.
