  2. If you want to see the ultimate spin and save look up the 1985 Indianapolis 500 where Danny Sullivan attempted to pass Mario Andretti and spun out. Only to recover after losing only one spot and come back and win the event. It was that day I lost respect for Mario Andretti when they interviewed him post race and he was quite bitter. He said that he set Sullivan up and sucked him into going in to hard and that he was just lucky. And if you were to watch it he was very resentful of Sullivan and his win. It's to bad because I really admired him until that point. Later on in life his highly successful and equally arrogant son Michael proved the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.     1. Dale, I remember seeing that in '85 on TV. That was the ultimate save. But I'm sure there are many we never know about unless someone might have a camera rolling.
