Flop Gear new season coming soon ( I haven't seen the last one) (But I watched all the Grand Tour!)

  1. I have to admit, I haven't watched the new Top Gear. I read the pre-release reviews and heard of the drama surrounding it and decided to take a pass. I miss The Grand Tour already. When does the new season start?
The original Top Gear was BBC America's top ratings-getter. No other show in the schedule even came close. If they want to revive those ratings, they should abandon Flop Gear altogether, admit defeat, and give the States a real treat: Mrs. Brown's Boys. If we can't live vicariously through 3 blokes driving high end exotic cars and goofing around, at least let us laugh our collective asses off.

    1. I don't know, but I think it's likely to be minimum 6 months between seasons.

Mrs Browns Boys? I'll have to look that up.

Completely agreed, they had a lot of fun, and we enjoyed watching vicariously

  2. Now that Chris Evans is gone I'm gonna give this new format a try, that guy really rubs me the wrong way.

I've been watching Chris Harris for a few years now and he is an awesome drive, funny, and knowledgeable. Don't know much about the other two, but based on this preview I think it looks promising.

    1. Hell, I'd forgotten that Evans isn't returning, maybe now the other people in the cast can get some screen time, I believe I heard that Reed had one feature in the entire season.

  3. Being readily advertised here, I will probably give it a go. Since shouty man left things got better, but Matt the Blank is still there and he still has the personality of a wet telephone pole.
I have no idea who the other two are, so it might be half a chance.
