They sure as hell should have made a Cougar fastback

It's for sale, but by a flake who is in Pennsylvania but thinks they ought to tow it to Maryland, "so it's easier to answer questions" I shit you not. Flake.

They want 15k, it's got a 289

  1. Nope, should have left it be and just bought a Mustang fastback if that was what you wanted.

    2. Do you notice the irony of posting a comment about time, on a post 5 years old?

  2. My guess is that he bought it in PA and wants to tow it to where he might live in MD to show it to buyers. Just a guess.

  3. So what's the deal with the Mercury itself? Is it a custom built job? If it is, it's a pretty damn nice job of grafting the Mustang sport roof and trunk lid to the Cougar body. That's impressive.

    1. I don't keep any info for myself, everything I know I post.
I can only speculate that someone did exactly what you suspect, put a Mustang roof on a Cougar. The corner piece, to the left of the drivers side taillight? That seems to have a larger flat top area than the Quarterpanel
