Mike's Tacoma, 3rd step from 2wd commuter to rock crawler

all the winch needs, it this little handheld controller to work. Wirelessly.

here's something Mike's installed that I think is a really cool trick, the air compressor under the hood puts the air into the drivers side slider and VIAIR tank under the bed, and this quick connect hose clips into the system inside the gas cap door...

and easily reaches any tire. He uses the Staun deflators I posted about last week https://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2018/08/the-offroad-rock-crawlers-have-certain.html

and this link and heim joint to keep the rear axle swinging in sync with the road, and it gets as much as 38 degrees off the horizontal... or was it 38 degrees full movement. I'll have to ask and make sure.

It would make sense to learn how much travel the back wheels have too, wouldn't it?!

The CB is a cool little handheld unit, that doesn't need the old brick under the dash. Just plug it into the lighter

the antenna bends and hides under the inside lip of the bed, and that prevents damage when going through the car wash

and it has a spring loaded clip to hold it upright when needed on the trail

flipped forward when needing to get into the bed tool box

Marlin Crawler transmission to reduce the rpms of the tires, and increase the torque. 14.7 to 1 I think Mike said... another fact I can't recall accurately and will need to ask him

and front axle links

under the hood... headers, improved intake air ducting, ABS compressor, aftermarket power steering resevoir and smaller power steering pump, winch brains and other module, improved battery hold down, replacement radiator (plastic won't last forever), airlines routed to the solenoid and out to the slider and tank, working on an isolation switch from a Peterbuilt, upgraded alternator
