cool things with wheels, since 2006
Nice to know these piece of information. I guess, General Motors had made great deal with businesses.
Jesse: this year is the 100th anniversary of the Delco brand. Might be a good spotlight. I have heard they will be bringing out some historical advertising and other media to highlight the occasion
thanks! I'll see if they are putting anything online yet
looks like in 1916 Kettering was making gen sets for farms, and that really moved them out of the oil lamp era into the modern day. Nothing on the internet from Delco Remy, who seems to have shed the Delco name, and goes by Remy, who is owned by Borg Warner
looks like a dead end, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delco_Electronics
GM also owned Frigidaire back in the '60's. My dad worked as an engineer for them before I was born.
GM also owned/owns locomotive builder EMD - Electro-Motive Diesel, Detroit Diesel, Allison Transmissions (and engine division), Terex and Euclid trucks, just to name a few more.
