Limbered kitchen to be pulled behind a car, fitted with camping stores etc. Can be used separately in standing camp, etc."South Midland Divisional Supply Column (M.T.) A.S.C. 15th Dec 1914"

  1. Hard to imagine now, that by 1916 the Army was still using limbers made to be drawn by horses. The troops caught on fast, as can be seen in the photo you posted earlier of the 3 ton Ford tank pulling a field kitchen.
