Bridge collapses days after flooding struck the town of Port Bruce, Ontario


A bridge collapse in this flood-hit Elgin County town left firefighters scrambling Friday to rescue a dump-truck driver whose vehicle was crossing the structure when it buckled after days of heavy rain and snow melting.

  1. Rescue the driver? all he had to do is get out and climb over the railing.( if he wasn't injured).

    1. yeah, I chose to leave that bit of reporter nonsense in the post. I'm pretty sure the driver merely stepped out of the rig, and walked up the incline and then sat down and called his family, then his boss. Then bought a lotto ticket
