the "Bridge to Nowhere", the result of great 1920's bridge construction, but roads that were washed away in floods


recently (it was built in 1926) it was bought by the Bungee America company... as no one else really is going to waste a day to come see or use a bridge that you have to hike to, and goes no where.

    There is also a 'bridge to nowhere' in New Zealand. It is in a very remote spot. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bridge_to_Nowhere_(New_Zealand)

    I suspect there are more in other places around the world.
