The complete roadster top was worked on to get an aesthetically pleasing chop. The irons and original wood of the roadster top which had been squirreled away since 1963 had to have 4 inches chopped from the stanchions and windshield frame and the irons were chopped accordingly.
The missing canvas top was replaced with a complete but aging soft top from a phaeton almost a century old.
the rims are wire wheels, however they look like steelies because they have Lyons wheel covers on them... basically, a really nice set of two tone hubcaps that are quite a disguise
