smart marketing ideas begin with noticing that buses are used by politicians

  2. The 1st bus is an old routemaster and they were retired a long time ago, I think the last few were retired from tourist duty 5-10 years ago.
The 2nd one is Boris's "Battle Bus" and it isn't a bus it's a couch. The two are very different in the UK.
They have been using that space to advertise on bus's since the 80's. FYI the claim on Boris's Battle bus was prove to be a total lie!

    1. it is NOT a couch. It may be a coach... but why you think a distinction needs to be made between a bus, and a coach, is something I'd like you to elaborate on

  3. Sorry for the bad spelling, It was early.
In the UK bus's can be single decker or double decker but run a set route to a schedule and stop along the way to pick up passengers and tend to be a reasonably local area.
You have to book a seat on a coach and it tends to run over a longer distance like London to Newquay (in Cornwall) and will may a handful of stops on the way They tend to have a toilets in them (buses don't even though drunks may disagree) and tend to have more comfortable seats due to the longer distances travelled.
Once again sorry for any confusion and the bad spelling, maybe the difference is a UK thing?

    1. Nah, I was needing to understand from your point of view the reason you refer to one as a bus, but not the other. Now I see... and would it be correct to say both are buses, the same way those 80 year old touring buses that took a dozen or more passengers around town, or through national parks, but one is more than a simple city mass transport bus, it's longer distance plus more comfortable and less crowded
