Legislation to exempt antique motor vehicles from state and local taxes has been introduced in Louisiana

Legislation to exempt antique motor vehicles from state and local taxes has been introduced. The bill will be considered by the Louisiana House Ways and Means Committee. The bill defines an “antique motor vehicle” as a motor vehicle which was manufactured at least 25 years ago, is maintained by a private collector and is not used for commercial purposes.

If enacted into law, the measure would become effective on July 1, 2017.

    1. Probably, ask Rush Limbaugh, or other pundit blowhard. I'm comfortably middle of the road and basically fed up with politics and political labels. Using words like liberal, conservative, left, right... all that seems to toss people in a box without a cautionary moment to ascertain their abilities, talents, and dangerous behaviors. Once you do that, you're a nazi. I'd rather go down the road and label people as ones I like, and ones I don't. Then focus on the ones I like. I'm trying to simplify, in my old age... there just isn't enough time to hate people anymore.
