the AAA Chicago Motor Club has now been remodeled as a Hampton Inn, but it has a terrific hotel lobby paying homage to the car legacy

The lobby is highlighted by the new presence of a 1928 Ford Model A, which was built the same year as the tower.

As the building starts a new life as a Hampton Inn, the people behind the renovation decided to pay homage to the building’s heritage — by placing a 1928 Model A Ford on the mezzanine level, overlooking the magnificent lobby.
