No, this is the one where the pilot survived.
correct, the Thunderbird pilot ejected
I'm sorry this happen to the Thunder Birds and The Blue Angles flying teams. And tragically the Navy pilot was lost. However, from what I understand, he did steer his jet away from the crowds so not to incur heavy casualties. I know Jesse you think it's a waste of money, but I do enjoy their aerial shows they put on for us. Just feel bad to see this happen. Well, that's my two sense worth.
He did stay with his jet and ride it out to keep it from plowing into the houses, I posted that. So, you like the shows, and I think it's too expensive in lives losts, and fuel costs, and the budget for each of the T-birds and Blue Angels would put hundreds of young adults through college instead, or cover student loans and zero interest rate, or pay for all costs at city colleges so kids could get real useful job training for free before hitting the job market and instead of working McDonalds and Dairy Queen and strip clubs, teens could jump into decent paying jobs better than min wage. Or we can have jet shows. I've been to a T-birds show, and 3 blue angel shows I had to work when I was in the navy. Plus, the Blue ANgels practice East of San Diego every winter, and I've seen jets landing and taking off from Miramar for the past 20 years nearly daily. Hell, I lived on Miramar for the 2 years I was stationed there.
