Thomas has finished his restoration of his 1930s Walker floor jack, Rol A Car #784, and it's powder coated and stunningly like new

above, as found in the 1930s garage and unused for probably 20-30 years

  1. I am working on a walker 783 its almost identical to the ones you did. How did you get the pivot pins out they have no head or way to put a tool on them. they are the ones sitting loose to the right and left of the mane lift assembly in the tare down photos. they are about 1 1/2 inch long and 1/2 inch round. any advice would help

    1. Good morning Phil, I think you missed the title of the post. It's Thomas that restored HIS floor jack, and I only shared the photos with my readers. I don't have a cool old floor jack like this, I only wish I did. I suggest you ask around on the Garage Blog. This entire floorjack restoration was chronicled on Thomas's thread on that site, at http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=51567&page=167
