With a little looking around for the cheapest gas in the City, I found these two stations that are nearly a dollar a gallon less than the average price of the usual exit ramp overprice big name brand corporate gas
Mate,at the top end of our cycle of pricing we are paying around $8.32 per your US gallon! So,even in Cal. you are not so bad off;given that it is all relevant,of course. So,in our old Imperial measures we'd be up for over $10 per gall.
I have known how much more expensive the gasoline is in most other countries, except the ones that subsidize the cost of gas, like Venezuela... but, it's only been 5 years since gas was 1.35 a gallon when covid reduced the number of consumers, and oil production increased the supply of cheap gas. 25 years ago gas was a normal supply and demand, and only 1 dollar a gallon. Then it started going up, especially fast after 9-11
