I've never heard of this machine, and it's no wonder... how often has anyone felt the need to recurve their brake shoes in the past 4 decades? (thank you Harry!)

  1. I remember doing that in my BOCES auto mechanics class in 71 or 72. It's amazing, you wouldn't believe how out of "round"
    they were, right out of the box

  2. Actually, that's a brake lathe pictured. It can resurface brake drums and rotors. There are probably thousands still in service today although on car lathes are more useful.
