this just nails the look of what mine will be with correct sized rear rims. A 6 pack hood is a couple years down the road for me financially, but will happen.

    1. Ulf, my choice is whatever looks good, and what I can afford. You're never going to have to worry about what to put on your GTX or R/T, and you'll never lose sleep over what other people think of your 1969 Dodge or Plymouth, am I right?
My R/T https://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2023/07/i-went-out-and-played-with-my-old-car.html you can see had a mix of 14 and 15 inch rims.
Why? Because the cars that had 15 rims, from the factory, were only Hemis.
My R/T came with a 440, not a Hemi. So, it only came from the factory with 14" rims.
Then someone decided to buy and install the back rims (15") for wider tires. Good idea.
However, what you might not be aware of, is that 15" rims will not mount on 14" disc brakes, and I decided (as did the red GTX above) to upgrade to 14" disc brakes, so the cars stop really really amazingly quick. Competitively.
Drum brakes just suck at stopping a car, even power drum brakes. It took about 220 feet to get my car to stop from 60 mph.

So, I decided to upgrade the brakes, and the rims, and the tires, and steering and suspension.
      My car now? https://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2023/12/nearly-last-update-on-upgradeoverhaul.html
These still are not my idea of what I want the rims on my car to look like forever, but, they will do the job for now.
But, you needed to learn why the original 14" rims and era correct (but not factory correct) 15" will not be on a car with upgraded competition brakes. They can't fit OVER those big disc brakes.
So, now, you can comment from an educated knowledge base of what is possible. And the 18" Magnum 500s, and Cragar SS, and Torq Thrust Ds that I wanted, look terrible in 18" size. They are no longer proportional as the 14 and 15" rims were

  3. You thought so, but, not on this post. This isn't my car.
So.... what can you say.... I've now sent you the links to my car in the before and after new rims, and you can read this post.
If you want to comment on the right post, good.
But commenting on the wrong post? Does not help anyone or anything. I've got 56,000 posts. They are all different

    1. are you drunk? I said 56,000 posts, not followers. If you can't talk about a thing on the right post, or tell the difference between 56,000 posts I have made, and 56,000 followers I do not have, go away. Save me from future you
