two things, the river wasn't deep, and they had a lot of friends that came to help! Sure wish photos were accompanied by the stories though

  1. A high school buddy had a tri-five like that, a hand me down family car. Our memory wasn't crossing a river though, it was getting pole vaulted into the air about three or four feet when the front U joint failed and the drive shaft dropped and dug into the highway at 65mph. That was the one and only time the speedometer on that car was pegged.

    1. That must have been scary as hell... Hard to believe that drive shaft loops were never made mandatory. Such a simply, cheap, and easy to install safety feature
