Well, it's far out, and very 70s... but more than that - it's a JC Whitney catalog erupting all over this car, even under the bumpers. Built by John Connelly from Voorhees, NJ

Update Aug 14th, I found the above photo of the different headlights without the under bumper scoops, at the same time by coincidence, John's son commented about this car, and said;

"Here is the new headlight grill treatment from late 1976 / early 1977

 1976 Buick Headlighs and and 60s Oldsmobile grill or vise versa. He also installed parking lights / turn signals in the front bumper.

 I remember the lost weekend when dad worked in the carport converting the front end to the new parts because a truck rolled back into the Duster and cracked the Javelin grill."

Grille from a Javelin, Chrysler 300 side trim, Corvette tail lights, center back-up light is from mid 60’s Nova.

Cal Custom scoops under the front bumper

I'd like to know what the medallion on the door has on it though

In 1978 an old man lost his brakes on a 71 Sebring and hit the Duister when it was at a light

  1. I believe it was a Mustang hood scoop also. Headlight surrounds from a 1973 Duster

    2. I have not seen any other photos of the Duster online other than the ones I posted 10 years ago.

    3. no doubt all the ones I've seen and posted are just copies of the ones you posted then, I found a couple and posted them in 2013, but had forgotten about when I posted these this week.
      Hey, by the way, thanks for sharing your photos and knowledge of this car!

  3. I remember coming home from school to this on the side of the house: late 1977 or 1978
