lit, young people slang for most attention getting. I heard it came from "being lit up" as if from Hollywood spotlights. Young people... they have to make shit up so old people sound clueless because we haven't been taught the stupid shit these kids invent for lingo. It's probably from the kids needing 3 letter words to use in text messaging because they don't have jobs, and can't afford a better cell phone plan
