I'm going to guess this Ford was not built with air conditioning, as it has to be cheaper to fix a broken AC than to buy the generator and window mount AC

In Derby Ks. there is a Chevy suv with an RV rooftop air conditioner mounted on, of course, the roof. It is toward the back end of the roof. My guess is that when the A/C broke this was cheaper than repairs to the factory unit.
