Railroad train stations that now operate as hotels, with sleeper cars as the rented rooms



the top-floor Train Suite – a completely renovated carriage with its own terrace, looking out over the city.

Brussels’ Train Hostel was designed in collaboration with artist François Schuiten and the Belgian National Railway Company. Sections of retired trains were cut up and incorporated into the building itself, while the interior was decorated with memorabilia sourced from donors and local vintage markets.
