steam shovel moving through the woods by self reliantly rotating two sections of rail, Iron Mountain, Michigan. July 1922. Saying lumber spur, Camp 11


the chains seems to be lifting a section from the shovel. I can actually imagine this procession making it's way through the forest of the Upper Peninsula.
