I don't think I've ever seen a Chrysler Laser

I'm guessing since I've never seen one, neither have most of you. Now, that's nearly preposterous to even think of, with all the cars I've seen that are rare, and unique... that a normal production car from the big three in the 80's has disappeared

  1. I'm surprised you haven't seen or heard of this one. They were everywhere in Northern California back in the day. Along with it's cousin the Dodge Daytona.

    4. I think so, someone thought I was insulting Senna, and BITCHED but they were wrong, I hadn't put down SENNA, I was responding to something someone else had said. I'm still waiting for an apology

  4. I had an 84 model that looked just like the one in your post (except mine had hubcaps). It was the best 4 cylinder engine I ever owned.

  6. I seem to recall a Road and Track or Car & Driver article (I think) that says they took the 4 cylinder Laser to a Sebring's type track to test and averaged something like 105 mph over 24 hours. That was huge in 1984.

  8. The Dodge version was called the Daytona. There was a Dodge "Shelby" Daytona version. They even made a El Camino/Ranchero version called the Rampage. they were all over southern California in the 80's

    1. Wow, that's a car that never gets used! I hope you take it out now and then and remember why you're storing it... because you dig it. Enjoy it while you have it!
