The Naval Prefecture Argentina adds new vehicles to its patrol fleet the old fashioned way. It seizes them from criminals, and uses them for publicity

This Ferrari was seized last year from the businessman Horacio Homs, who was a fugitive from justice and had hidden the sports car in a garage in Avellaneda. The Homs company, Abril Catering, was being investigated for check cashing fraud

It is not the first time that Prefecture added a seized vehicle to its fleet. Probably the most famous case is the luxury yacht that belonged to former transport secretary Ricardo Jaime.

With the same premise, the Federal Police has a jet that belonged to Lázaro Báez that bears the legend "Aircraft recovered from corruption." It also has an Audi TT and a Mercedes-Benz C-Class that were seized in anti-drug proceedings.
