a Pagani Huayra Roadster prototype got away from the control of it's leadfoot pilot.. and the damage is 100s of thousands of dollars.

The Italian hypercar crashed in Aalen, between the villages of Burgstall and Birkhau in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, last Friday morning

According to the police, the 37-year-old test driver lost control of the car during a sharp acceleration shortly after he missed the construction work on the road.

The local police department shared this photo of the accident site on Twitter - we can see the go-fast machine... parked into a bush on the side of the road.

It's likely in that neighborhood due to the location of the AMG factory that supplies the Pagani cars with 6 liter twin turbo engines.

Was Richard Hammond anywhere in the vicinity? That poor little who-are-ya pranged so hard it changed the cammo pattern. (I know, two different cars, but I couldn't resist)
