1917 Reo 6 cylinder, 1st bought for a farming family of 14.

Ignition switch and key... things were simpler in 1917, no one would think of stealing a car, they were too easily recognizable as belonging to someone you knew and they were too expensive to fuel for most people. Keys as we know them, with lots of different shapes, lengths, and teeth combinations, weren't needed until cars became frequently stolen.
