Cool things with wheels since 2006
The plane is of course Catalina, but I got a famous Xª MAS (you see what I did there) vibe from it. They got even that wild idea of New York raid that would be done by gorgeous CANT Z.511 long range seaplane, that would carry such manned torpedoes.
Riding a mini Nautilus hanging from a thin airplane wing on an i-beam assembly that looks like it was stolen from A Mack truck factory?........sure, sure....yawn......but one handing a 1911 45 and expecting to hit anything past 15 feet....now that's science fiction!
