I agree with the Harley, it was my favorite banner from this group. Runner up was a tough call for me, the pedal car, the Land Rover, and the LeMans hard cornering Holden all displayed really well as banners. That green airplane was too small a photo, and there wasn't quite enough room for the text part of the banner to fit without obstructing the airplane propeller, and that killed my buzz for that image as a banner. The photographer didn't allow enough space on to the front of the airplane for me to work in the banner. Oh well. Some months have a slew of incredible banners, and some months are quite mediocre. This was one. What still impresses the hell out of me were the "Best Of" the past decade of banners that I filtered out of hundred of banners I've used so far. Click on "Best of" then ignore page one and get right to "older post" aka page 2. http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/search/label/best%20of?updated-max=2020-01-06T09:24:00-08:00&max-results=20&start=2&by-date=false or if you can cut and paste this link, it will get you right to it.
