Sounds like they designed it right... so with half of it's systems, wings, or parts, it can still fly

  2. I think Australia should have bought these instead of these. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-11-29/no-compensation-for-fiery-growler-crash-subs-costs-growing/11749446

    1. If I were Australian, I'd be a happier guy I bet, for one thing... and with that accent, have more women wanting - there I go, distracted by Australian women again, damn it.
As I was saying, if I were Australian, I'd tell the polticians to stop wasting taxes on a Navy, just because they are getting campaign donations and kick backs from Americans.
Having spent my 10 years in the Navy crewing on submarines, and stationed at the Top Gun Navy base, I also don't see why there is a need to waste taxes on an Air Force.
If any other country makes so much as an Ugly Face at Australia, not only would it have it's own Army, but the combined military allied power of the USA and Great Britain to jump in and smash the stupid out of whatever country thought they'd start shit with our favorite cousin with the cool accent.
Unless you're in an arms race with China and Russia, there is no reason to have a submarine Navy, and unless you have to go to the middle east and get in wars with camel herders, there's no reason to have an air force.
If there is any desire to feel more secure than living on the deadliest island with great white sharks around it, and salt water crocs, inhabited by impressively tough people who will take no shit from invaders, then hire any other country to be Navy for you at half the tax cost.
The Indians are already in your backyard, and desperate for your money, and speak English, pay them to be your Navy.
It would be less expensive than wasting your taxes on a military you'll never need
