climate change group protestor, a former athlete who won bronze at the London Paralympic 2012 games, glued himself to the top of a British Airways jet at the airport.

A large number of protestors from the Extinction Rebellion environmentalist group have been causing dire trouble at London City Airport (LCY) today.

Since Monday, 850 protestors have been arrested by the metropolitan police. Just recently, 49 arrests were made in the vicinities of the airport made, including former Metropolitan Police Detective John Curran, who glued himself to the ground at the terminal’s exit.

  1. LCY is in a very expensive area of London. It's probably the way some very rich people found to do not lose value on their expensive properties.

  2. Okay. I've seen these "protestors" and their aggressive protests. These people aren't only nuts, but scary too. And they're spreading all over the world, including America. Their leader advocates violence and even death "If necessary!" They call themselves green, but in my view their true color is red. By the way, where the hell was airport security when all this was about to happen? I thought they had very tight security around all those airports.

  4. I was wondering, what if they leave them there glued?

  5. Well, regardless of whether one dislikes what they did, you have to admit glueing oneself to an airplane was pretty creative. Never heard of that stunt before.
