New Orleans is probably as bad as we've heard... after all, Hurricane Katrina was 14 years ago, and the city just got around to clearing out drainage canals that deal with storm floods - to find that they've been blocked with two cars washed in by Katrina

Notice the bottom line of the above 2 tweets from the  Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans... " we immediately " as in, from July 10th to Aug 21st  - to them - means "immediately.... let that sink in. Because it explains why it took 14 years for them to get a car out of this flood channel / drainage canal that Hurricane Katrina washed in, which is located near a critical pumping station

Police would later learn that this 2002 Mazda 626 had originally been reported missing on August 29, 2005, or exactly the day Hurricane Katrina collided with New Orleans.
