  2. Jesse, have you ever seen a B-36 up close and personal? I've seen the one at the SAC Museum outside of Omaha several times. The wing is what always made the biggest impression, its so thick that you could stand up in the largest part and you can crawl through to each engine. Its like looking at the Golden Gate bridge, the Hoover Dam, the Empire state building, and marvel that human beings can conceive, design and build something so huge - and in a day when the math was done with a slide rule.

    1. I don't think I have been around a B 36... a 17, 24, 25, 26, 29, and I think a 52, an SR 71... but not a 36.
