Seriously, he's a revered person in the car world, like Linda Vaughn. Neither raced or set records with cars, but they both earned a respect in the wide variety of the automotive world.
You simply don't disrespect either. You spell their names correctly. Every time.
When I went to interview at Hot Rod, and walked into the reception room that isolates the world from the corporate offices of Motor Trend, Hot Rod, etc etc,

You nailed it, they dont have any 'car people' on the payroll! Just a bunch of employees rolling cars across an auction block for as much as they can get.... sad

DeleteGray "Ol' Dad" Baskerville is one of the most beloved car guys of all time! I remember how devastated I was when he died.
