I found season 2 of the Grand Tour online

be warned though, this site wants to get a pop up tab to happen, every time you touch anything on the screen, and sometimes those pop ups will try and take control of your computer, by not allowing you to close the window etc.

It can be very simply avoided by never allowing a new tab to open, by quickly closing a new tab that tries to open before it can complete it's download.

  1. I will just wait for weekly installments...

  2. Can you be sure this Russian site is serving up trojan hacks? Is the GT worth the risk? On the other hand Dakar starts up this weekend if you are looking for something to watch.

    1. I've been using the site for over a year now for tv shows, movies, and even The Grand Tour, and my experience has been that nothing is hacking the computer, but, it's a really huge pain in the ass to not close those damn tabs faster than they open. Once it took me about 10 minutes to get the damn shit shut down, and get back to enjoying watching and surfing the net.
I've had my laptop scanned, for viruses and malware, and it's quite surprisingly clean of all crap. That evidence is all I need to know it's safe, and not screwing my laptop up, but I want people to know it's a son of a bitch to deal with if you aren't aware of the quicksand effect that happens when those tabs open.

Ever since I got that figured out, I've been very happy to use this site.

    2. I think it was about this time last year we started using Solar too (we got the scoop here chasing episodes of TGT). We have watched many shows and movies including all of the Game of Thrones and The Grand Tour with little more than exactly the fun you describe.

Village Roadshow are responsible. They won a case to block access to the site. The service providers are meant to block it, but they don't. The excessive pop ups are just to discourage users.

My experience is the same as yours except the ADs are for Australian sites. The intensity of the Ads vary too, sometimes you will only get one or two. It can still be a right pain in the arse though.
