drag radials and a TransBrake have never been offered on a production car; until now... but they didn't win an award. The Power Chiller did. All 3 come on the new Demon Challenger

Popular Science magazine awarded the system one of its 2017 “The Best of What’s New” awards.

It’s not the gas but the oxygen that goes boom in your engine; stuff more air into your cylinders, get more power. To achieve the SRT Demon’s crazy acceleration, Dodge’s necromancers of speed flow the breeze over what is essentially an air-conditioning compressor before the supercharger crams the air into its V-8. Colder air holds more oxygen, creating a bigger boom and, eventually, 840 glorious hell ponies.

  1. The question is, who is going to repair these things and how much is your insurance going to go up? One of these systems could double the repair costs in case of a front end crash.

    1. answer, the dealership of course. Insurance? I seriously doubt your insurance company is going to carry you if you buy a Demon. Hagerty already stepped up and said they will insure the Demon, I posted that a couple months ago. Repair cost of front end collision... that car is going to be designated totaled if it has a front end collision... the engine, hood, etc etc and then the one of one systems are going to cost more to replace or repair than the car is worth. But that doesn't mean people won't buy them if they can afford it. Even Ferrari deals with this same issue, and no one ever changed their mind about buying a new of classic ferrari for these reasons. C'Mon Ben, rich people don't need to worry about these things, and poor people can't afford them anyway.
