1963 Yazoo

those big back wheels are a damn good design idea

  1. True pioneers in the design and development of commercial mowers, but for some reason, they failed to keep up with changing technology (True zero turning radius hydro drive), and they were overtaken by brands like Scag, Ramsomes, Ferris, etc.

  2. 2nd job I ever had was working for a lawn service when I was 12. We had a Yazoo for clearing lots. Seriously, the next best thing up was a bush hog. I saw that thing take down small trees and saplings.

First job was in the tourist trade, picking up dead catfish off the bridges, but that's another story.
